Prerequisite: None - everybody welcome. Qualifies as partial contact hours fulfillment for Original Tai Chi Fundamentals® Program (TCF) and Tai Chi Fundamentals® Adapted Program (TCFA) Instructor Certification.

This 2-day Tai Chi Fundamentals® Adapted Program (TCFA) Training Course is ideal for anyone wishing to learn and teach tai chi. It teaches TCFA in three versions: standing with optional side support, with walker support and seated. You will learn all the Basic Moves building blocks for practicing tai chi and Part One of a simplified tai chi Form based in the Yang Style, beginning with simple movements and progressing to ones that are more complex. Training integrates important Mind/body Skills such as breathing, focus on the present and relaxation; training also includes lecture, qi gong instruction and an introduction to the ROM Dance® Program.

For health professionals, the course integrates evidence-based practice with a holistic frame of reference, provides tools for applying TCFA Basic Moves therapeutically and information on how to document for reimbursement.
