COVID-19 Precautions and Requirements:
The DeKoven Center is only offering single rooms this year, instead of a choice of single rooms or doubles. Masks will be required indoors in communal spaces.
All attendees will need to show proof of vaccination to attend this event, as well as a negative Covid-19 test result conducted within 72 hours before arrival at DeKoven. Several of our teachers are immunocompromised, so requiring these two precautions is what will allow us to have an in-person event this year. We reserve the right to change these rules if official guidance at the time of the Retreat has also changed. If you have a medical exemption from vaccination, you can attend by providing only the negative test result.
Commuter Options:
We encourage everyone attending the Retreat to lodge at the DeKoven Center, as this allows the most time for informal connection with our tai chi community. If this isn’t an option for you, though, and if you live in the area, you can attend the workshop portions of the Retreat as a commuter. If you are interested in attending as a commuter, please contact us to make arrangements. (This option is not available through the online registration system.) Contact information for commuting options is included on the first page of the flyer below.
