DESCRIPTION:Tai Chi Fundamentals® Teacher Training Information Session \nLori Enloe\, PT\, MA ( Tai Chi Fundamentals® Course Instructor and Advanced Certification Reviewer) is offering an opportunity to discuss updates in the Tai Chi Health Training programs. Tai Chi Health offers certifications in Tai Chi Fundamentals® Adapted and Original Programs and Tai Chi Prime\, a National Council on Aging Fall Prevention Program. During this one hour session\, we will review the certification process for the TCF Programs. We will also discuss ideas for bringing Tai Chi Fundamentals® teacher training to your community and answer questions about the TCF programs and the recent research for Tai Chi Prime. \nWe will meet on Zoom from 7 to 8 pm Central time. Please contact us if you are interested in registering after that date. \nIntensive Description: Ideal for Tai Chi Fundamentals® (TCF) certification preparation and for keeping certification current in both the TCF Adapted Program and Original TCF Program. Great training for class instructors\, for health professionals applying TCF therapeutically in their practice\, and for enriching your personal tai chi practice. \nFocus: Review and refine the TCF Adapted Program Form\, performed standing with optional side support. Includes teaching skills development\, movement analysis\, functional applications\, and Mind/Body Skills training in breathing\, relaxation\, sensing qi (vital energy)\, and visualization. Also includes coaching in constructive feedback and helping students improve their postural alignment.
