DESCRIPTION:Dear Tai Chi Fundamentals® (TCF) Program Certified Instructors\, \n\n\n\nJoin us at our TCF Certified Instructor Retreat. We hold these retreats biennially. SAVE THE DATE:  June 13-15\, 2024 at Holy Wisdom Monastery in Madison\, WI. Learn more about Holy Wisdom Monastery at their website.\n \nTCF ADVANCED CERTIFICATION RETREAT\nDates:  Sunday PM- Monday noon.  Would you like to become a TCF Certification Testing Reviewer or Professional Training Instructor? This is the most thorough and cost-effective way to begin the process. Contact Rachel for details. 6 WPTA contact hours.\nInstructors:  Rachel Sandretto and Patricia Culotti \nMAIN EVENT: TCF CERTIFIED INSTRUCTORS RETREAT\nDates: Friday PM – Sunday afternoon\nOpportunities: Get trained to teach the evidence-based (in review) classes taught in the tai chi grant. Includes hard copy of all teaching materials. Get certified in the TCF Adapted Program\, which is required for teaching tai chi grant classes. Receive new certificate\, files and permission for using teaching materials. Review Original TCF Form\, holding postures. Either attend instruction/review of TCF Adapted Program Basic Moves and Short Form\, all versions\, or teach a TCF Form move in our feedback/discussion groups. Present a mini-course or show your stuff at the Share Fair. Practice push hands/sword (optional) at several opportunities throughout the retreat. Party! Talent show/skits on Friday night! Bring your instruments and party supplies. 12 WPTA contact hours; keeps certification current for the next two years.\nInstructors:  Patricia Culotti and Rachel Sandretto\, with presentations by Certified Instructors \nThis is a residential retreat.
